What is spender.cc?
spender.cc is a crypto-funded virtual card platform. You open an account, get a self-custodial wallet, fund it with crypto, and spend through a virtual card accepted anywhere Visa or Mastercard is supported.
Is spender.cc a bank?
No. spender.cc is not a bank. The card is issued by a licensed third-party card issuing partner, and your crypto wallet is self-custodial. We provide the platform that connects your crypto to everyday spending.
Which cryptocurrencies are supported?
USDT, USDC, BTC, ETH, SOL, and more added regularly, across Ethereum, Solana, Tron, and other major networks. Check the platform for the current full list, as supported assets and chains may be updated over time.
Is the card physical or virtual?
The spender.cc card is virtual. It's issued instantly and ready to use online and anywhere virtual cards are accepted, with no shipping wait.
Does spender.cc have spending limits?
There are no artificial caps imposed by spender.cc — you can spend up to your available balance. That said, standard card network rules, issuer risk controls, and merchant-side restrictions may still apply, as they would with any card.
Do I keep control of my crypto?
Yes. The wallet is self-custodial — your keys, your crypto, your control. spender.cc does not hold your private keys and cannot recover them if lost, so keep your recovery credentials safe.
Is spender.cc available in my country?
Availability depends on local regulations. Some jurisdictions are restricted due to licensing or compliance requirements. You'll be notified during signup if your country isn't currently supported.
Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes. As a regulated card and payment service, spender.cc requires identity verification (KYC) in line with applicable Anti-Money Laundering laws. You'll need a government-issued ID and may be asked for additional documentation.
What fees does spender.cc charge?
Fees may apply to funding, conversion, and card transactions. The current fee schedule is published on the platform and shown before you confirm any transaction.
What happens if I send crypto to the wrong address or network?
Blockchain transactions are irreversible. If you send funds to an incorrect address or select the wrong network, spender.cc cannot reverse or recover the transaction. Always double-check the address and network before sending.
Is my balance insured like a bank deposit?
No. Crypto and any converted balance held in connection with your account are not bank deposits and are not covered by government deposit insurance.
What is the Telegram Mini App?
It's an upcoming feature that will let you manage your card and wallet directly inside Telegram, without switching apps. It's coming soon — join the waitlist to get notified at launch.
